Lala~Land

I'm tired....I mean DAMNLY tired.

I even can make an equation out of my tiredness.~

(11 a.m. until 5 p.m.) + (1 hour O.T. ~ 6 p.m. like that la) - (break + lunch) = ME being in the lab!

Then,

40 Antibiotic Sensi Test Plates + Another Plasmid Extraction = Severe Backpain! (due to my bad sitting posture)

To conclude the day, I may say.....

ME being in the lab! + Severe Backpain! = Awesomely Awful Tiredness!

For the very 1st time, I was working my ass up, continuously, without a break. Lame~

I feel....

Guess what?

Today I feel..............very motivated!

Yeah~ Finally, my efforts are paid. As you may know, currently I'm working my very best in the lab for my Final Year Project. Of course I'd like to thank my senior and dearest friends for helping me all the way. 

For the past few weeks (even before the exams), I've been doing the plasmid extraction which is so, so much harder than I thought, to obtain the bands. Hmmmmpft!~ And I admit it I felt very down for my previous AGE (Agarose gel electrophoresis) results, 2 of 'em actually, showed no band at all. Not even the positive control. Huuuuu~

And finally, after the 4th trial (17/11/10), I managed to get some bands! Yay! It's not that my result is toooo good, but I felt relieved because at least I have the hope to proceed my project. Well, molecular works are so damn hard dude! I almost give it all up. Hee~

But, after I showed my current status to my supervisor, he said it was good. I feel very motivated! Ngeh3~ I can't stop smiling to my ear. 

Ok!~ I know you will feel disgusted after reading this post, but like I care. LoLz!~ It's just me being happy of what I've gone through so far. (Ya..Ya..Ya..I talk like I was about to give it all up, previously.. =.="")

Now, all I can say is,

"Kena puji tu memang rasa syiok, but don't ever be too confident after being complimented. Instead, take it as a motivation to pursue our dreams."

And that verse keeps on playing in my head today.

Why am I being very nice?

Why don't I just being bad to others and act like a bitch cause that's more like it.

But no, I just can't help it. All I can do is just whine and sigh, all by myself. How pathetic! It's good to be nice with my own friends...but with stranger? Hurmmm~ I barely know them and I act like an angel towards them. And now, they keep pushing me around and stepping some serious shit on me.

Today's been a rough day for me and yeah~ It is well-listed. 

1. I had a lot of labworks. Well, I still can cope with it. (as I'm a researcher-to-be)
2. It's such a hot day, and it felt like a burning oven in the lab. (Ain't it suppose to be a monsoon season here?)
3. Got some stupid minor mistakes during labworks and I got confused.
4. I went up and down from my college to the faculty and cafe like ten times today. (Damn tired man!)
5. Someone just keep pushing me around since like a few days ago and I didn't even said a shit about it. (Well, I still have my patience...until now, I'm about to burst!)
6. I still had my extreme headache until today and I don't know what am I going to do about it. (FYI, I had it since last Saturday)
7. I'm moody for the whole day. It's the PMS pain! That's just one of the reasons I can't control myself today.

Sorry all, because I just simply putting my shit here. 12/10 is really a worst day ever for me.

I Support-French-Booth Day

It's UNIMAS's Convo week!

It's the 1st time I attend the fest (after almost 3 yrs studying here). Now, I feel like I can't wait to finish my study and have those bouquets and graduation teddy. Okay!~ Just bare with it. I got like only 8 months left....hopefully! It feels so good to watch all those grad students wearing "the robe" with a big relieved smile on their face. Awww!~ I really can't wait for my turn.

But, I haven't enter the convo hall. So, my main purpose of attending this fest is - the French booth. Well, I'm just showing my warm support. J'aime French very much after a few classes. And there's only a few weeks left before the class ended. Huu~ I'd be very sad, because I had never once feel the pressure while studying French, compared to the other Science classes. *Sigh!*

Plus, our French mademoiselle, Miss Haslina is kinda cool and fun.

Today, we had a great fun in the French booth. 

I got to wear a Yukata! (Yukata - Japanese traditional garment)

At 1st, I was hesitant to wear it (Shy bhaa...a lot of people crowding the place and then, I talk un peu de French but suddenly wore a Yukata - kinda awkward). But, Miss Haslina request kan....Pakai jak la...Hehe!~ (Malu tapi mau kunun!)

To conclude the day, I was back at 5pm. Means that I've been out for 7 hrs today!

1. French Booth activities
2. Eat and melepak at the fest's stalls
3. Then, eat again at Siang Siang Desa Ilmu (looking for a better food)
4. "Iglool"ing at the UNIMAS Seni Budaya and Warisan stall
5. Missed 4 busses to our college!
6. Waited at depo for almost 2 hrs in rain
7. Finally, reached home at 5

Phewhhh!~ 

What a day. Enjoy the moments but felt extremely exhausted tho. And my head hurts!

3D Dates

This happened a day before I get my lovely butts off of UNIMAS.

We (Mimi, Tatang, Jo, Andrew and I) were spending our time together after locking ourselves up for weeks in our room doing bunch and bunch of works. Proposal punya hal la ni. Urghh!~ How I really hate FYP right now. 

We went to my fav place ever in Kuching (LoLz!) - The Spring. Had dinner, jalan-jalan....Pictures.......~

After that, we're decided to have a movie night at MBO. I decided to watch Step Up 3D. But then, it's not on! Huu~ They only got like 2D version only. LAME! Cause I really want to watch the 3D version (most of my friends cakap "syioook!"). 

But still, we wanted to try another 3D movie - Cats and Dogs 2. Haha~ Whooot! We're watching family movie y'all. Lame! 

*I just saw the ratings from IMDb....and it only got like 2 stars...out of 10! What??!*

Well, I think there's no need for me to give the review or the storyline. Obviously it's about the REVENGE between CATS and DOGS. Dogs as the good guys and cats as the villains. Awwww~ Kids would really love it! Watching the cats and dogs talking like human being. And moments later, the parents will find their kids talking to their pet dogs, "Woooo~ You really can fly a rocket and doing Kung Fu Pow!"

Haha~ Yeah....It's a "great" movie for kids.

*But, what's LAME"er", we're watching it 3D. Wow! Great"er"!*

The 3D goggles are so damn loose! Uncomfortable~

Well...Okay! Leave the movie parts.

After the movie, we were heading to the waterfront. So, as usual, CAMWHORES! again......

After a relaxing walk, we went to Siang Siang to have our little supper. Coffee Break la kunun...Before going back.

Maybe I should throw out my dearest lappy or hide it in grave or something.

But too bad. I just can't get rid of it.

And now, I'm really hungry. Another excuse for not doing anything right now. Great!~

So guys.... Don't even bother asking me about my FYP.

Cause my current progression is totally suck now.

UNIMAS CNY Celebration

Last night (06/02/10, 1900), a couple of friends and I were attending the annual Chinese New Year Celebration in UNIMAS. It was held in Dewan Unimas. So, Patsy and I were taking bus to get there. Rush3..Plus before then, I've to be a make up artist for the CNY AJKs...And there were three of them...hee~ (I'm really sorry if I didn't do the makeover well..It's been a while since I did makeover for others). 

Upon arrival..

It was a crazy day. Hundreds of students were filling all the spaces in Dewan Unimas and most of them were Chinese (Lorr~ Of course maa...It's CNY celebration..hee~). So, as we went into the hall, we took the very front row. Haha~ Berebut ni...childish ohw.. Well, who doesn't want a nicer view?

I'm gonna talk a bit about CNY and this year, it's a tiger year! Grrr~

Characteristics of The Tiger based on the Chinese Zodiac

The Tiger, the living symbol of strength and power, generally inspires fear and respect. Tigers' compelling dynamism, intense activity, independence and curiosity about others make them irresistible, persons of multiple charms; Tigers attract followers and admirers. The Tiger is courageous, active and self-assured, and makes an excellent leader and protector. However liberal-minded Tigers may be, they are passionate, rash, and resist the authority of others. Although they are selfish in the little things, they are capable of great generosity, even of altruism, in the larger. Tigers are men and women of action, thrust by destiny into the spotlight.


CNY is a great symbol of happiness and prosperity among the Chinese as it is a brand new year for them. So, I guess their culture is just so unique from my own view. Plus, here in UNIMAS, I got lots and lots of Chinese friends. (Even, my ex-roomy and my current roomy are Chinese! Coincidence huh?! Hee~)


Back to the CNY celebration in UNIMAS, I can say that I had a great time. There's many entertaining performances during the function. Ohw ya, I also like the emcee. I think his name is Sam. I really enjoyed the jokes and the "talks". Great job ohw! Two thumbs up!

The performers mostly were outsiders and half of them were kids. So damn talented! But what I like the most was the musical performance. Gosh! It was really synchronized.

One of my favorite. I don't know the instrument. All I know is it is a string instrument and played with a tiny stick (hoho~ don't laugh..I only able to describe it). They played it in a fast motion but I can't find any mistakes in the sound. Quite impressive!

There's a lot more performances that we saw on that night. But, I think I will just show the pictures. Hee~ It's quite a long story for one night. So, just let the pictures do the talking!

Hope that next year will be better or the best (Hey, it's my last year in UNIMAS already! How I wish time would tick slower. Gaaaaa~ I already can feel the of heat of FYP).
